Simone Carvalho
Hi, I'm Simone Carvalho, the founder and instructor at Little Biny LLC. I’m a mom of two boys, an educator and advocate of early childhood education. I have a degree in Childhood Education, and Psychology from The Universidade Catolica de Pernambuco -Brazil. I’m also certified as a Kids Yoga Teacher, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction MBSR, and RYS 200 Hour. I have been teaching children for over a decade in Montessori/Reggio preschools, where I began applying my background in yoga to create an environment of mindfulness and emotional awareness for my students.
Lucy Ritter
Hi, I am the co-owner of Little Biny! I am a mother of an active little boy and am about to have a little girl! I have a degree in Child Development from Brigham Young University - Idaho and a specialization in outdoor education. I have worked as a nature teacher and a preschool teacher, and love to share my knowledge and experience with other teachers. I have presented at conferences for NAEYC, Natural Start Alliance, and NAAEE. My family has always valued movement and meditation and I have loved bringing that portion into my teaching practice over the last few years. I am passionate about the power of childhood and love working with children, parents, and teachers to help children reach their full potential!
